Mubarak Egbeyemi is a Partner in the Firm. He holds an LLB in Law from University of Ilorin and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2010. He commenced his legal career with Doyin Rhodes-Vivour & Co. where he developed his expertise in alternative dispute resolution especially Arbitration both on a local and international level. Mubarak’s thirst for experience saw him join the law firm of B. Ayorinde (SAN) & Co. where he honed his advocacy skills under the stewardship of Chief Bolaji Ayorinde SAN [Now B.A. Law LLP]

Mubarak is a key member of the firm’s Dispute Resolution Department and has successfully represented individuals, corporate and government agencies at all levels of the Court system in Nigeria.

He successfully handled lawsuit with He successfully represented numerous institutions in notable lawsuits. He defended the Federal Government in ensuring that the Treasury Single Account [TSA] was implemented. He was also Lead Counsel in the multi-million dollar suit involving the taxability of foreign companies at the Court of Appeal. He also represented the Nigerian Press Council at the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court to preserve their status as an oversight body for the press in Nigeria. Mubarak is multi-versatile and has handled 300 cases over his ever-evolving career with a tremendous success rate.

He was also a key member of the legal team, which represented the Federal Government of Nigeria in arbitration proceedings against a multinational corporation. He has liaised with several government agencies in respect of matters involving the firm’s numerous clients and he maintains an excellent working relationship with most of the Federal Government Agencies in Nigeria.

He also has a masters degree and is an associate of the chartered institute of arbitration UK.

Mubarak has written so many articles on arbitration, international conflict management and mental health in Nigeria. He is presently writing on the need for a potent legislation on Genital Mutilation in Nigeria.
