Dr Agunwa seamlessly bridges elite academic rigour with high-stakes legal practice. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Law at Durham University, building upon his prior academic appointment at the University of Glasgow. His exceptional educational credentials include a Doctorate (PhD) from Durham University, complemented by two Master’s degrees (LL.M.) in Energy Law earned in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

• Energy & Infrastructure Deals: Demonstrating deep proficiency in complex commercial structuring, Uchenna recently drafted, reviewed, and successfully negotiated a high-value Vendor-Financed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) on behalf of a major software solutions provider.

• Dispute Resolution & Advocacy: A formidable court advocate, Uchenna regularly represents clients across all superior courts of record. His advocacy portfolio also includes navigating sensitive pre-election matters and complex disputes before Election Petition Tribunals.
